The Beehouse offers a unique professional one-to-one Music Production Workshop for musicians or singers who would like an insight into how to develop a whole track to a completed stage. Throughout the course it is possible to work on already developed tracks or to create a whole new composition. As much help as you need is offered with instrumentation, arrangement, recording, use of software, special effects, mixing and mastering. The Music Production Course, which customers often call the Studio Engineering Course, or Music Production Workshop, still costs £199.75, providing five hours of invaluable one-to-one guidance and teaching in a relaxed and friendly professional studio on the outskirts of Llanfyllin.
The course is accessible to most parts of the Midlands, Central England and Wales, at postcode SY225LD. It is ideal for anyone seeking a Shropshire music production course, or indeed a music production course based near to Cheshire or Birmingham, being held on the Powys Shropshire border. This is one of our customers' favourite courses at the Beehouse, and can be realised at a variety of levels, whether for beginners or those with some experience of the software and techniques. Devised to be helpful in a practical sense to those seeking a more complete understanding of the whole track production process, it can encompass audio engineering and music skills. You can also add real bass, drums, guitar, piano, keyboards, strings, however you personally wish, with guidance from our resident production team, who can offer help in laying down the guitar and keyboard lines, selecting drum patterns and so forth. Alternatively, the focus may be on music technology, with more emphasis on samples, loops and synthesiser sounds.
The day is plotted out in advance between the engineer producer running the session and the customer, and culminates in the production of a CD. Music production workshops are semi-professional and aim to be fun but insightful introductions to the real world of studio recording. It makes a great gift for a bedroom music-maker, but is also of great interest for someone with experience and more specific interests. Taster courses are also often tailored to provide a great introduction for someone with no recording experience whatsoever, still producing a commercially recorded CD of what has been produced at the end of the day.

The Beehouse recording studio endeavours to help artists to complete their professional ventures as they would wish, to an anticipated budget. Recording studio days vary immensely in duration and style. We make every element of music production available - providing production, instrumentation and supplementary vocals if required. We do aim for a commercial product to arise from each project. Our engineering staff have a wide variety of experience and great intuitive ability which can make the difference between and end product that "sits right", and a messy unfinished approximation which may be available elsewhere. Recordings are checked thoroughly prior to your departure to ensure the sound quality is of a commercial standard
