Jane Lane Songwriting and Recording.

I am a songwriter and I also work with others to help them write. I also record and produce tracks. I write in a wide variety of styles from neo-classical through electro to dubstep. My main current theme is a disco funk project called Hookstick. I've also got some experience in soundtrack creation.

My main music business is called Noochoon.

I work from my home studio and also Llanfyllin Workhouse on the Powys Shropshire border, near Shrewsbury, Oswestry and Welshpool. I've been involved in the music industry both musically and otherwise since 1996. Over the last three years I've been heavily focused on songwriting for Henry's Machine and Hookstick.

There is now also a band, Hookstick, in which I'm involved in writing tracks and giving keyboard support.

The songwriting sessions I offer are usually one to one, or one to two on occasions (one customer, two producers). Singer songwriters and singers can book studio time with me to write and to record tracks.

Studio rates are £40 per hour. If I write tracks with a customer, normally any royalties which might be generated from the release of such a track would be shared. I can tell you more about how royalties work if you decide to book. Or you can look up PRS and PPL online.
